Vinyl Appreciation starts back up on the last Sunday in January 2012. Happy New Year.
Could it be the last Vinyl Appreciation? We’ve dusted off the crates for 18 consecutive months, serving up all sorts of music magic on the last Sunday, but the times they might be a changing. If you haven’t come and checked out all the action, the time is now. October 30, 5-10 p.m. at Muse Arts Warehouse. DJs and record collectors will carefully curate sets of their favorites, with no genre off limits.

It’ll be part of a public exhibit opening soon, and available for your Screw related thesis research starting in 2013.

The newest installment in the “Tasty Morsels” series aka the Best of Vinyl Appreciation…Here’s a 70 minute block from the August 2011 installment of Vinyl Appreciation, featuring sets by KZL, Classy Individual, Ray B., and Britt V. There’s some classic rock, some deep psych, some middle eastern funk and plenty of serious grooves.
The last Sunday of the month is nearly upon us. Time once again to gather in the dark, air conditioned recesses of the Muse Arts Warehouse and enjoy the strange and wonderful musical selections of DJs and record collectors under no obligation to make anyone dance.
